Dr. Fonacier is a physician and professor at NYU Langone Hospital - Long Island. In addition to serving as a physician and educator, she conducts research on allergic skin disease, including new medications for atopic dermatitis and difficult to control urticaria. She is also the president of the American College of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology. Her research also focuses on patients with suspect reactions to biomedical devices, such as knee or hip replacements, cardiac stents, or dental devices.

Dr. Fowler is a nationally recognized dermatologist who is a Clinical Professor of Dermatology at the University of Louisville School of Medicine and former President of the North American Contact Dermatitis Group. He is a founding member of the American Contact Dermatitis Society and a member of the European Society for Contact Dermatitis. Dr. Fowler along with his wife, Lynn Fowler RN, BSN founded DS Research about 20 years ago. He is author of over 250 peer-reviewed publications and co-editor of the text Fisher's Contact Dermatitis 3rd through 7th editions. He created the Caribbean and Coastal Dermatology Symposiums and is a frequent speaker at numerous national and international conferences.

Dr. Yu is an Assistant Professor of Dermatology at Harvard Medical School and a dual boar certified adult and pediatric dermatologist practicing at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, MA. He is the Director of Occupational and Contact Dermatitis Clinic and the Associate Director of Clinical Trials. He has a niche interest in pediatric allergic contact dermatitis and has published numerous peer reviewed articles on allergic contact dermatitis and atopic dermatitis in leading dermatology journals. He has received numerous research grants from the Dermatology Foundation, American Contact Dermatitis Society, and the Pediatric Dermatology Research Alliance to better understand the biomedical underpinnings of allergic contact dermatitis. Dr. Yu is the President-Elect of the American Contact Dermatitis Society and has been invited to lecture nationally and internationally on his areas of expertise.

Dr. Hylwa ("Hill-wah") is an Assistant Professor at the University of Minnesota and faculty in dermatology at Hennepin County Medical Center and Park Nicollet Health System where she is a physician in the Contact Dermatitis Clinic and co-director of the Contact Dermatitis Fellowship. She received her medical degree from the University at Buffalo in New York graduating with AOA, cum laude, and research honors. She completed a residency in dermatology at the University of Minnesota and served as chief resident. She is a member of the European Society for Contact Dermatitis and the American Contact Dermatitis Society, previously serving on the Board of Directors. Dr. Hylwa has numerous publications and book chapters on the topic of dermatitis and contact dermatitis.

Carsten R. Hamann is the Research Director at Contact Dermatitis Institute and a board-certified dermatologist at Saguaro Dermatology. He is also a Clinical Assistant Professor of Dermatology at Dartmouth Geisel School of Medicine. He completed his undergraduate degree at Calvin College and went on to obtain his medical degree at Loma Linda University. After graduation, he attended the University of Copenhagen in Denmark, where he received his Doctor of Philosophy in Public Health and Epidemiology with a focus on risk factors and comorbidities of eczema. Post graduation, Dr. Hamann returned to the states to complete his Dermatology residency at the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center where he was the Chief Resident and the Assistant Chief Resident of Research. Dr. Carsten R. Hamann is a co-author of 3 textbook chapters on rubber allergy and metal allergy, and he has authored more than 57 peer-reviewed publications.

Dathan Hamann, MD is a board-certified dermatologist and the medical director of Saguaro Dermatology and Contact Dermatitis Institute. He is also the Associate Program Director and a Core Faculty member at the HonorHealth Dermatology Residency in Phoenix, AZ. He is an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Phoenix. He also serves on the board of the Phoenix Dermatology Society and is on the Education committee of the American Contact Dermatitis Society. After obtaining his undergraduate degree at Calvin College and his medical degree at the University of Arizona, he did his dermatology residency at The Ohio State University where he also served as the Chief Resident of Research. He is the co-author of textbook chapters on rubber allergy and metal allergy and he has authored more than 50 peer-reviewed publications. His primary clinical interests include complex medical dermatology and contact dermatitis.
